2009 Matthews Family Christmas Greetings

Merry Christmas from Dave, Cheryl, Chris, Andi, Josh and Nathanael Matthews.

We wanted to share a quick "Merry Christmas" with all our friends by posting a few pictures of us through the past year. We hope you're all well. We're doing great and want to share a little bit of our year with you.

OK, so here's the real picture. That's Ben who doesn't look near as "buff" as me above. He and Andi will be married this June after Andi graduates from Lee in May. Same trip, different head. HA.

Dave and Cheryl, now married 33 years and counting. Seems like my smile never changes, huh?

We welcomed Missy Henry Matthews into the family May 16th. Welcome to the family Missy. We wish you both more than 33 years of happiness as well.

I guess we did get a whole-family picture in there. Be careful how you pose Andi. Those pictures always get back to you, don't they? Click on this one to see the better pose. We did get one of all four of our children before the depart for their own lives. Click on this one for the "other"one.

Josh was thrilled with his 97 Chevy S10 that he got for his 20th birthday. He'll be starting college at Ivy Tech here after a semester at Lee University with Andi.

Nathanael marched with the FC Band in the State Finals this year, marched with ROTC and is "smokin" his Sophomore year!

It was a tough year this year as we lost my Grandma Jane just three weeks short of 100 and Cheryl's mom, Joyce after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

But this year has also been one of great blessings as well. We are certainly looking for wonderful things in 2010 as we continue to faithfully serve our Lord in everything He gives us to do.

We hope you enjoyed our little visual tour of some of our highlights of 2009. We hope you'll stop by for a visit and drop us a line some time to say hello. We hope that your 2009 Christmas is a joyous one and that you and your families are already preparing for a wonderful New Year in a new decade!
